P38A Which fuse?

Since removing battery to charge, the message Fuse failure has came on. When I've opened the fuse box it looks like I've got 3 fuses marked 9. The only things I can see that's affected are the front windows, anybody know which fuse I should remove? I've tried removing them by hand but they're very tight, do I need long nosed pliers?

There should be a proper fuse puller thing in the fusebox, another one under the driver's seat fusebox.

Your fuses marked 9 are of course maxi fuses marked 60(Amp). Long nose pliers will do the job.

Oh...the big ones...couldn't get them out with the puller thing kept in the fusebox, only the little standard ones.

Fronts door windows are fuse 22 (the last one bottom right) in the drivers seat fusebox - 30amp

Long nosed pliers or a big nammer.

Noticed today that mirrors are not working either, would that be the same fuse? If it's saying fuse 9 has blown, what's that for?

Fuse 9 is also in drivers seat compartment, controls front audio amplifiers and front doors.
Maybe there’s condensation in doors/outstation connectors groggy.
No record of wing mirrors but I do have elec ones - wiring is close though, I’d chance there’s water seeping in.

What flavour of P38 and year cos fuse boxes changed as too what slots were used.

Have you actually looked in the lid.

It's a 2000 Gems 4.6 petrol. I've just been out and had a look under the drivers door and where there should be a light, there's just two wires sticking out of the hole. Further investigation required in daylight!

Thanks for that, I've removed No 9 fuse and it is blown. I'll tape up the two door light wires, change the fuse and see what happens.

That sounds like a winner.

Bare wires have an uncanny way of blowing fuses (and sometimes setting fire to stuff.........)

2000 with GEMS doesn't sound right ??
