Good point about the dates but according to the BBS site we only need to order 10 units to get 20% discount and 4 names were put down in December. Any one else want to put their name down? We can get 10% discount with 5 if nothing else.

I'd be intrested in 20%

Seems like there is some interest. I'm happy to drop BBS a quick e-mail to see what we need to do. Not sure if they all have to come to one address for onward distribution or if they come licensed etc.

The big problem will be how to sort the money side. I've only just joined the forum and none of you know me so I think it needs one of the senior members to take control of that unless someone else has any ideas??

Let me see what response I get from BBS.

Also might be worth trying to capture which one people want. Here's a starter:
Nanocom Evolution -

Lyndasbottom - P38 Diesel
Stickly P38 Diesel

For the discount it will be delivery to the one address, but last time it was possible for each individual in the group purchase to make their own payment direct to BBS.
You may not have much luck, Colin the boss at BBS was slagged off continually on this site and in the end left:(

I was in the fcr group buy. We paid Colin, the units were sent pre addressed and packed to one UK address. We paid the postage to the member and he dropped the units in the post.
Worked really well .

But as Datatek says Colin was actively harassed by several self abusers on here. top result he left.
Given he could win prizes for blowing his own trumpet but the individuals involved are just as bad.

Just got the following reply from BBS:

Good afternoon

We have no bulk purchase program, just the discount for bulk purchases as
shown on the Nanocom section of the web shop

- 1 to 4 Units = 0% discount
- 5 to 9 Units = 10% discount
- 10 to 19 Units = 20% discount
- 20+ Units = 22.5% discount

You simply place your order in the normal way through the web shop.
Select the amount of each model type you require in the small quantity box
below the product details and update basket then proceed to checkout. Our
Admin dept when they receive the on line order then calculate the discount
and shipping (has to include insurance) send you a Pro Forma invoice for
payment by bank transfer. VAT rules apply in Europe and will be applied to
the order. Please note that from the 1st January 2013 the Cyprus
Government are raising the countries VAT rate to 18% form its current 17%.

Kind Regards

Ron Blakey

Looks straightforward enough. I assume we can individually submit payment via bank transfer. Now just need to get enough people to join in.

Just throwing it out there but how bad is the Hawkeye diagnostic tool compared to the other units being discussed on here?

Dave

nothing wrong with the hawkeye, i have both hawkeye and nanocom evolution. hawkeye covers both petrol and diesel models with one unlock code, not tied to one vehicle chassis number, push button keypad mono screen. version 5 now covers security relearn. all updates so far have been free. no need for laptop, powered from vehicle obd socket. needs a seperate lead costing £52.80 +vat for air suspension

nanocom, much nicer interface, looks and feels more refined, touch screen technology easy to navigate. i like both but if i had to choose :scratching_chin:nanocom would win.

very new to all this but might be interested. Need to do a bit more research first unless anyone can point me in the right direction quickly.

Is this a single vehicle gadget? does it cover P38 and L322 models? if not which one will?

if the diagnoses unit is Nanocom Evolution for TD5 Discovery II ,:confused:can it be upgrade with p38 and L322 in the same unit ,, 3 @4 diagnoses in one unit ,,:D:D
