Hi all. I have to replace the rear suspension bushes. I’d prefer to stick with rubber rather than poly and I could do without paying £30 per bush for genuine ones. On Nodges recommendation Advanced Factors supply at £3 per bush but such a cheap cost makes me nervous of their quality. I’ve found alternatives by SKF or Febi for £10 to £15.

Any suggestions/comments appreciated and given I don’t fancy a more rigid ride am I right to steer clear of poly bushes?
Thanks Neil

Polybushes are fine if you buy the expensive ones - cheap one are to hard (imo having used both)

I am not sure I would be happy with a £3 Bush. If not poly then branded OEM would be better

AF have a good reputation for supplying decent quality components, even if the price seems questionably low.
Call them, and ask about quality of the cheap bushes, but in my experience, they only sell what they'd use themselves. ;)

I would try the 3 quid ones and see how you get on, more expensive does not always mean better.

I have chea**** o\n my 90, way better than the floflex polys I removed.

Just an update. Having spoke to AF (very helpful btw) they advised that they didn’t have the £3 bushes in stock but after checking their suppliers they offered me some Febi Bilstein ones at about £10 each. I’ve ordered them but it’s all a bit of a lottery.
