which A&R unit?

My RPI A&R unit is playing up, apparently it always has. I have a friend who installs LPG systems and he came round to play with my landy one afternoon, he noticed the timing was slightly out on lpg and so adjusted it accordingly, my God what a difference.

She now pulled like a train and i was really happy with her, until I discovered she would now refuse to hot start on petrol, he has had to adjust the timing back to how it was before and told me my RPI A&R amp is playing up (hence why the timing was slightly out before), he's told me not to buy a replacement unit but instead go for a " AEB Joker n".

I have never heard of these units before and wondered if they were any good before ordering, I've not found much about them online.

Can anyone recommend a decent one that they use?

My RPI one didn't last long either.
Iwema do one, don't know if it would be any better.
I prefer to use 98 Ron and give it as much advance as it will take without pinking (which is more than 95). It's not like I run on petrol much so it is the best compromise using standard piggy back amp.
