where does this go?

I've come across this vacuum pipe but cant find were it goes too. Anyone that could have a look on there V8 3.9 and if you could please take me a picture thank Steve.

I have a 3.9 but don't recognize the part, the pipe will will end up at the vacuum pump located under the jack in the engine bay but may not go directly to it but be T'ed off to feed other bits of the engine. Is it a UK spec engine?

Yes I thinks. the part off the injection pump (I think that's what it is) on the top backside of the manifold. Its right by the throttle, Thanks

Well Well Well I do have one smurphy, the the pipe turns and goes to an inlet/outlet that is on the plate the houses the stepper motor only 12" away can't see it but can feel it.

I had probs with the vacuum hose before so I thought is was that.

Must look in my parts book to see what it is. That was easy it's the fuel pressure regulator so a very important part. Pic of it in the Haynes book

I will show you mine. You can see the hose going to the rear of the plenum chamber, I would think the engine would not run very well if there was a prob with this hose.

Get on with putting that pipe back on in the morning, cheers my man and Merry Christmans too you:hippie:
