Hi Everyone.
New member here. Pleased to meet you all. I justwanted to pass on some information about Freelander TD4 1. I am having problems with the hp pump leaking. A top engineer recommended NOT using ultimate fuel in the future as this can affect the seals. Might be a idea to keep away from fuel additive too. It's the older models that are affected more apparently. Hopefully this saves someone a big bill.

Hello there from North Dorset,

Have a Defender 90 (Diesel) sitting on my drive that I would be interested in shifting on to a new person who would be happy to take it forward. Got it as a project to do with a friend but we just don't seem to be able to get the time to get it finished!!

So thought I would come on here, get some advice as to try and find it a new home and then maybe re-invest the money in a 4x4 that needs work that I would be able to do.....

Mine needs a gear box replacement and that scares me a bit.... I have the replacement parts and have stripped it back to the bell housing, but now I do not have the knowledge or the time to put it in.....

Also, don't feel like having a messy accident lifting things underneath the beast!

I've a '98 Disco 1 300tdi that I plan to use for camping/overlanding off road.
I'm in a bit of a thought pickle at mo. It needs tyres soon and I was going to put some mud terrains on but not sure which size will fit onto a standard set up disco? And wether to go for steel modulars or keep with the alloys?
Has anyone else been here?
