I'm from Sydney's northern beaches... but have a long standing obsession with land rovers, I also have a long-standing fear of break downs in the middle of nowhere hence my need to buy a new-ish one.

Hi all, i live near berkhamsted in hertfordshire. I have owned my 1979 88" series 3 utility for about 3 months and i love it.
My dad had landys when i was a wee lad and let me drive them on private land for fun, well i wanted one ever since so a few bids on ebay and my dream was made real. lovely.
I did own a freelander and really liked it even though it treated me to every typical fault they have. Last of which was the head gasket.
I'm really loving the LRO and LRM shows and the great community that goes with it all including this site of course. I will post some pics of my landy soon and i would love to know what you all think. Thanks for reading this as i know i waffle on a bit lol
