Is it definitely the PAS pump that is leaking and not the box? It is very common for the steering box to leak.

i dont know lol i had a man look at it he just listed the faults but i will pass all info on to my dad thank you the more help i get the better x

Hi Sam, if this was my car I would be prioritising what needs to be done first.

For example, if the pas oil leak is as bad as you imply, the car can't be driven.

If the suspension at the back is permamnently sat down, it can't be driven.

If the exhaust gasket is leaking a bit, it can be driven but needs fixing - see what I mean?

If the radio doesn't work right now (or after disconnecting the battery to do work) because you don't have a code for it - you can still drive the car.

Prioritise, that would be my best advice. All the rest is just Mechanno.....

ok cool where is the best place to get a new PAS the height sensors manifold gasket and studs from?

PAS = either Paddocks or Island 4x4

Gasket = EBay or any land parts place

Height sensors are genuine items only, and landy spares place will do them, or a dealer.

i hope he dont break it he trying to save me some cash he does know a bit bless him but might be needing a good garage to do the manifold and pas do u know any?

ok so just ordered new PAS pump and height sensors will try to get all fitted this week and update on how all went and think i may of found someone in cambridge to do the manifold at £35 a hour labour so thats not toooo bad

you can connect an IPOD to the land rover stereo, so no need to replace it lol.

"if" and when you get your height sensors "if" you want to run it over to me if your dad is not happy doing them, I will gladly do them for you. Will take an hour max and I can re-calibrate them "if" they need it.

If you can contact a dealer to get the code before hand, then that will save you not being with out tunes in the car as well

ok so fitted the height sensors yesterday evening and passenger side sitting 1 inch higher than drivers and still bloody dropping at night the landrover garage i went to told me i had no compressor problems and new bags with no problems so really lost on what to do next? urban panzer any chance i could run it over to you and have it looked at and maybe calibrated? and what sort of price will that be?

Sam is your car chipped ?

Hi guys I have this squealing manifold problem and have posted a new thread, but after searching have found this old thread.

URBAN PANZER, why do you ask about the chip?

as mine has recently been done, is it the extra power causing issues on standard or worn parts, I know this is debated much on here, Do remaps cause issues??

Cheers for any thoughts.
