what just happened here?????

i wasn't trying to instigate some kind of civil war!!!

i think, to a small degree i was under a little illusion of what green laning actually was, as i thought it would be a better intro to off roading than one of the club days.

my real aim is to learn to drive off-road properly as a form of going form A to B (the kind i will be doing while shooting) with a capable yet tame 4x4 (compared to a lifted, big tyred, snorkeled, breast plated mud slinger) and was after some recommendations for what would be worthwhile to do without compromising the on road performance too much.

Once i get a few bits sorted, the ground dries out a little bit more and i can free up a bit of time i will try and get down to a pay and play type day and go from there...... after all, if i get bitten by the bug then i'll flog the disco, buy a 90 to modify and get a small hatchback for going to work in!

thanks all for the recommendations!!!!

mmmm, nor do i like the idea of me being refered to as a 'member'!!!!

so....... a series III lightweight, 90 pickup or a 110 safari then? thats whats on my mind at the mo!

lightweight every time. character.. i use a ser 3 fer shootin and other countery pursuits. works a treat bog standard.. just mud tyres and sometimes a snorkel!
