Where do I fit Side steps and a rear step to my 1980 S3?

Does anyone have any advice or pictures of how these fit onto the chassis? I've been fumbling around under there for 20 minutes but can't work it out...

It's an S3 109.

hi
if i knew how to put a photo on here i would show you. 2 holes drilled into the sill channel and take the rear brace to the chassis and mark out where to fit the angle cleat, you dont have to weld it you could use decent hex head self tappers.
