I tried everywhere to get some at2 for my disco in 255 55 18. Paddocks still have some 16 inch ones in stock but in the end I bought a set of wheels and tyres off ebay with 255 60 18 at2 on tyres had loads of tread on them. The new AT is supposed to be as good offroad and in the whitestuff.

I looked at the new ATs but they dont look as good, i mean how can they be as good off roadin and in the white stuff just look at the tread pattern, my old AT2s was foooookin brilliant off roading and i can honestly say they didnt let me down not once, even when doing the serious off roading in the lake district... the new uns look more like road tyres than 50/50 on off road... :(

They may not look good - but they are good! Off road too.

You know the funny thing about remoulds is... there actually better than new tyre, they have a lot more laws about how they are made and they have to be a certain spec, its a lot more stringent than a new tyre I know that kinda weird but there you go....

You must also let your insurance company know if you fit remoulds (some comapanies insist thet you advise them of any change from the manufacturers specified tyres)

HGV remoulds delaminate all the time, as did two remoulds on an old Jag of mine. Don't trust 'em.
