I'm after a decent black L322 diesel up to about £17 or £18k and cant find one for love nor money (cash), any ideas where all these are hiding?

Lovely cars Mate I've got one - had it for 2 years no problems whatsover. Done 15k since its last service and still not telling me it needs one.... I'm going to wind a few people up here but apart from the fuel it's the cheapest car I've ever had... Drove down to Croatia and back last year never missed a beat (Alps were lovely - it purred!). And no I'm not selling it!

Any idea what a decent spray job would cost?

if you set aside 1000-1500 pound youd get it back looking mint, but for that price theyd do the look engine bay everything, depends what you want if you just wanted it black on the out side you could half that price maybe, but then you have what colour black you want etc,

i paid 200 quid for my series 2 to be blown over but i did all the prep work its not really in the same league as a rangy spray job though:p

I'm on the Essex/Herts border, how would i go about finding a really good bodyshop to do the paint job? Never had any car sprayed before and dont wanna end up putting her in to some bodge artists

basically have a look around word of mouth is always best i think i mean you could have the best looking spray shop in england with all the sexiest gear in side loads of swankey signs and they could all be a bunch of numpteys working there on the other hand you could find a bloke who works for himself with a little lock up and he would run rings around the others, basically dont asume somewheres good if its a tidy looking shop etc

as sed ask around look at cars theyve done/doing but word of mouth gets my vote everytime mate
