When the big winter comes and snows us all in as predicted....

Which set of tyres should I stick on the lump d'ya think.... I am currently running Insa Turbo Rangers all round but have another 6 wheels loaded up with IT Sahara - The saharas grip like **** to a blanket on mud but are a pain on the road as they are a 265/85 which is quite big and 'bendy' and quite knobbly. I am tempted to stick the saharas on for the snow but don't have a great deal of experience in snow.

Wots yer view on this

???

Thanks fellas

Does a bigger dia' and chunkyness not count then? - I think both tyres are the same sidth but the Saharas fill my arches and lift kit right out.... I just wouldnt trust them on ice.

Righto...

Saharas are 235 / 85

Rangers are 235 / 70

Both have the same width but obviously the Sahara has a more aggressive tread patern and larger outside circufrence on account of it's profile.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to which would be the more suitable for snow on that basis?
