Wheels + Tyres

Mines got drums and the wheel and tyre package I got from Paddocks fits fine, no spacer required. I went for 235/85 x 16, they look a little large under the arches but they don't foul anything and I didn't need to make any adjustments.

If you go for 265/75 x16 they won't be as tall but you might need to adjust your lock stops as already advised.

Did you get a set of 5?

And anyone care to point me in the direction of lock stop adjustingness?

Bigish nut on the back of yer swivel housing. Tis obvious when yer look.

Yep, and now I'm saving for a spare wheel carrier, theres a lot of weight on the back now. Doh! more expense

Just get a pick up spare wheel holder for your bulkhead.

Or make one...

I need the space, plus I'd never see over the wheel, there fooking huge.

I've got this one Swingaway Spare Wheel Carrier on eBay, also, Land Rover, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 04-Feb-09 09:31:25 GMT) But you can't open the rear door from the inside when it's in the closed position.

These open with the door so are better for a County model Land Rover Defender Swingaway Spare Wheel Carrier on eBay, also, Land Rover, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 20-Feb-09 22:30:52 GMT)
