Has anybody seen a 110 adapted to accept a wheelchair? I currently have a 2003 Disco, 4 children (Youngest in wheelchair) and the thought of going down to a people carrier is just too horrible to consider. Would love to get a Disco III but there just isn't enough room.

Thanks

Matt

I can't say that i've ever seen one but i dare say you could buy one. Be it from land rover or a specialist conversion, I even saw a 110 yesterday with a campervan type removable back, so i would say anything is possible.
Good luck in your quest.

Hi

I have seen a Range Rover & Discovery adapted for wheelchair use. Jeff Gosling controls is a good starter and has a network of fitters throughout the country.

Depending on what kind of adaption you require (from simple ramps to a full body conversion) You could check out your local yellow pages for disabled aids suppliers) Body conversions I'd check Jeff Gosling as his company is the expert on all things conversions.

I get my hand controls from him as I am a wheelchair user too.

Also when you get a conversion done to your vehicle you may then qualify for VAT exemption (although this is very complex)

I Hope this is some help. If you need any further send me a message and I will help as much as I can.

With 4 children and a wheelchair would there be enough room in a Disco? A LWB Defender County would be a better bet with all that interior room, and easier to convert I'd have thought. Not so civilised to drive though, but once you have the Disco will feel a bit namby pamby!

Did I just say that or think that?
