wheel/tyre oppertunity

Hi all,

Got chance of a set of steels with 235/85/16 insa turbo saharas for a deal with my boost alloys and 70`s, but just a quick question tho, can i use my existing wheelnuts off my alloys to fit the steels???

Also, heard stories of them being unstable at 60 plus mph, is this right?

They will hold I used them when I had a puncture to hold the steel wheel on ... but I got the punctured tyre sorted straight away, I wasn't willing to risk a wheel coming off a set of steel wheel nut's are dirt cheap on fleabay.

Bloody hell! I hadnt even thought about this wheelnut thing.....I got a steel as a spare on a disco with 4 alloys on ! Best get me some wheelnuts....or another alloy

the boost alloys are worth alot more than the steels with remould saharas, sell boosts on ebay i got £650 for mine with good general grabbers, then buy some decent wheel and tyre package and get lashed with the change

I agree a set of insa's on steels are worth about £100/£150 max. Lad on response forum i9s selling a set of boosts with 235/85/16 BFG's and he's asking £590 for em. Reckons the package cost him £1100.
