.....The wheels without dimples will not fit(they will if your brake pads are worn but you will be in trouble when you fit new pads)because the calliper moves out and catches the wheel.

The wheels I've bought have been confirmed by LR that they'll fit my '06 TD4 and they have no dimples??

Part No: RRC504630 - the last 3 letters on mine are XXX, whilst they should be MNH!! I did ask about this and the LR guy said it was just due to the casting, but they will fit - I HOPE!!! I'm begining to doubt it myself now....:frusty:

Hi,

Well, I've just fitted my new'ish' 16" rims with Grabber AT2s onto my '06 TD4.

For anyone interested, the part number of the rims I got is: RRC504630XXX - this doesn't show as a part number in the LR catalogue as the XXX should MNH!!

I've attached some pics and you'll see that these do not have dimples or holes between the studs.

I've taken her out for a 10mile spin just to see if there were any clangs, cracks, creaks, breaks etc - Nothing. She ran perfectly, although did have additional road noise due to the AT2s, but that's to be expected. :D

Just thought this may be useful for those looking to fit 16" wheels to a facelift hippo.
