Wheel colour?

Hi, what colour should the wheels be on my Series 2? White or off white? Can any one recommend a paint that looks right, Cheers

The Land Rover paint code for the 'limestone' colour is LRC007. If you are brush painting, then I can recomend tekoloid paint.

As for applying said paint, I would strongly recommend using a paint roller, the radiator type ones that are about 4" wide instead of about 1' using sponge rollers made for gloss paint as they give a much better finish than a brush, I've just done my S3 SWB and you get a great finish this way, I also used a 1" brush just for doing tight areas around detail. Enjoy!!

Buy a litre of Limestone HMG enamel paint from Paddocks, Its only £10 a litre and 1 Litre will Paint 5 LWB rims inside and out using a brush, And the top of a truck cab. Probably th ebest paint I have ever used, It can be brushed, Rollered and sprayed, And you get brilliant finishes no matter what you do. I brushed my wheels on my 2a at 12.30am on a cold December night and at Leafers, People asked did I take the wheels off and have them powder coated

Another bonus is HMG paint dries mega quick and is synthetic so will cover anything.
