Wheel change help sw4 area

Hi guys,

Bought my disco 2 and the tyres are done, bought some 18" alloys and tyres but came to change them and my wheel lock key is broken, ordered one which arrived and it's too the wrong one. Anyone in the area have one I can borrow or recommend a garage with one. I have a trip to Cornwall on Saturday which I'm driving down everyone too so this messes plans up exceptionally

I've never owned anything modern enough to have locking wheel nuts but I believe most folk in your position drive a slightly too small socket on.

Hmmmmm the one in my bag which is broken is large, ordered one and it seems too small to go over

Check gumtree that's where I found a guy to do the wife's locking nuts after we broke the key tryring to get the nut off some ape used a gun to tighten them up when they changed the tyres he charged £10 a wheel. Some tyre garages will have the kit. I managed to use an irwins easy out on a breaker bar to remove mine when I found the po didn't give me the key. It depends on the style of lockin nut wife had 4 pins you line up, mine was a like a standard bolt with an odd shaped head.

All sorted, apparently the defender ones work although had to buy it from Land Rover garage so cost the price of family holiday

One of my favourite tools, but are they big enough for a Landy wheel nut?

I used these I the past I get the numbers off them if needed ps they have a left handed thead.
