Once again I need clarification on these enormous wheels that I have for my Landy. They are the big 35" x 12.5 x 15"s. I have also fitted 30mm spacers, this means that the arches are not going to cover much of the tyre. Is there a legal requirement, my pal who is an M.O.T. tester says he knows of nothing for the M.O.T. test (but he's gonna check ) but he says I may fall foul of the Police if they see it on the road !!!.
Clarification is all I ask, and if someone here hasnt got the answer then i'm sure there is no answer to be found, any info appreciated.......

The MOT testers handbook states that no part of the tyre should be visible beyond the edges of the bodywork, when the wheels are in the straight ahead position. So you are going to have to obtain some of the really wide arches, I think Simminites sell them.

just take em off for your MOT. I doubt the police will be very strict on that kind of thing, especially land rovers. (Dont take me seriously on that!) Boy racers in Corsas are another matter however...
