Please could any one tell me that if i was to replace my wheels with smaller ones would it help with my fuel consumption and speed. My tyres are 235-85-16.
 
I'd be very surprised if you weren't able to top 120mph and achieve 45mpg. I've fitted 8" wheels to mine and it's transformed it. I have to turn the stereo up to cover the sound of the diffs dragging on the floor, but apart from that it's great.

I have the same problem:D
 
November 2012 new legislation comes in to label tyres similar to white goods A B C D E F. We will then be able to determine the economy etc of our potential tyre purchases.

Wouldn't you want massive but narrow wheels so there's less road friction and travels further per revolution? Could look quite errrm interesting...
