Just refitting the boot floor on my newly purchase RRC and found this...

It is connected into the fuel pipe about a foot away from the tank, it's needs a 12 volt supply, I put the live onto the battery and it started clicking, the only thing written on it is 'war tec' and a narrow saying flow?

Anyone know? Should I wire it in properly??

an after market low pressure fuel pump, id remove it and fix lift pump or other fault it was put there to help mask

Looks small for a pump. A fuel cut off solenoid maybe?

Just heard back from the previous owner! It is a low pressure fuel pump he was fitting it as when it ran out of fuel it took forever to get going again so he was fitting it in case it ever ran out of fuel again.
