as title suggests

was listening to radio 1 today and they mentioned that soon all drivers will be receiving a letter stating that all cars wheher they r off the road or not will have to be insured. my plan was to let all the tickets and insurance run out of my rrc and trailer ir around after that when i get my b+e as im 23.
i got a 3 car driveway,i mean surely vehicles that r on a sorn will not come i to this catergory right ???

wrong mate, all cars whether sorned or garaged, under going work etc will have to be insured.:mad:
can you show us proof of this mate? coz everywhere I look it only seems to apply to taxed vehicles. It would be a nightmare if you owned a motor museum :p

Graeme Trudgill, BIBA’s Head of Corporate Affairs said: “Continuous Insurance
Enforcement will help reduce the £500 million burden on innocent motorists caused
by uninsured drivers, vehicle keepers should ensure they stay insured or SORN their
vehicle if it is laid up, vehicle keepers can always check at askMID or
speak to their insurance broker or company if they have any doubt.”
