Most (as said, not all) cop cars have ANPR. All traffic cars do.
Most towns and cities have had ANPR cameras for at least the past ten to 15 years, and have been getting more and more since - they locate them on the main entrances and exits to the town,
All wanted, uninsured, untaxed cars are flaxxed up so if it recognises the numberplate it's location is logged and reported at the next sergeants meeting in the morning at the very least, and is programmed into all traffic cars ANPR system automatically.
If yer breaking the law in a car, chances are you will be caught!
