What's this bit?

I'm asking this on behalf of a friend, he just forwarded me this picture and said the bronze colour pipe has snapped clean off. He wants to know where to best source a replacement. Well we're at it is it as commen to de egr the L322?

Looks like the inlet pipe to the Intercooler to me....just researching now!

EDIT: Nope - see my post below....still looking!

Found a picture of it, damned if I know what it is...but it does go to the EGR valve....

Looks like his best bet is direct with Land Rover. He wants to De EGR it too but I guess this pipe will still be needed regardless?

They are only £97.99 from Rimmers. Get two in case you damage the first one fitting it.

That looks as though it could be repaired.
Careful marking up before you remove it and weld it up?
