It's a 2004 4398cc in vogue trim...
Rattle on start up but Barry says sortable he's just re-built the air compressor for the owner...biggest problem it's here in Algarve on sorn last mot 2017...asking 1500€...

Cost a fortune to matriculate and tax if you keep it there.
Cost of bringing it back makes it expensive for here.

I know all about matriculating here I'm 2yrs down the line doing my 101 been told last piece of paper passed last week...we've got the space and the tools to break it might go that route but for a lot less €....

They fetch good money in Albania and may be other countries that way so I am told, If you could find some one to come and get it, or a Albania working there taking it back with them, if you break it only worth 500€ max I would think if you are going to make anything out of it, I see a lot of good cars here weighted in because they have no value not being registered and RHD

i would offer £750 at the most, that way if you do decide to break it you know you will definitely make your money back. i have broke down 2 P38s for spaes and made money on both. Is Barry your local mechanic there ?;)
Sometimes they make mistakes and it may only need a small amount of money spending on it.

Try a bag of midget gems first, but not the black ones.

May be worth it just to see that smart inspectorate woman again ;)

Midget gems will cost me more than I'm prepared to pay for it...
That smart inspectorate woman you refer to is the one in a pic I posted?...she's my agent and keeps going AWOL...need to go to inspection next week and still haven't got it road legal...

Secret's out now!

What's that in £££? Bit over a grand? Hell of a lot of car for a grand.

What the prognosis on the rattle?

Not sure on the rattle couldn't discuss it at the time will know tomorrow when meet mate for a beer.
By the way the P38 in the pic is the one with the blown BCEM.

Still not fixed? Of course, Portugal. All half days and lazing on the beach. Forgot where you were for a moment. :)

Is this the one with the VANOS unit? Think it might be.

Shame the P38 is not closer, I have a spare BECM:cool: As for the L322, not worth the effort IMO if the engine has a VANOS problem, would be easy enough to matriculate in France though.
