Hi guys, popped into the local garage to inspect my brothers crash-damaged car and noticed they had an old series 3 round the back...
It's a late one (maybe C reg) with a 2.25 petrol 5brg engine, salisbury rear axle, bull bar, roof rack, fairey overdrive, decent set of insa tyres on it, deluxe seats in good nick, bench seats in the back etc
It's been sat up for a while after the garage bought it as part of an un-paid bill and the bloke is planning on weighing it in in a couple of weeks.
I don't know if it's a runner or how long it's been off the road but the bodywork is good, bulkhead is suprisingly good and chassis needs a few patches. The door bottoms are all tidy too.
So the question, for £150 is it worth it to either tinker, MOT and sell on or break for parts to sell? I thought that the doors, bulkhead, tyres, overdrive and roof rack would easily see the £150 back again, what do you guys reckon?
Thanks in advance, Harry
