hi guys..
i have a possible head gasket failure. roughly how much should i be paying to have it fixed? (assuming that it is only the head gasket and nothing more sinister).
if i have a slipped liner or two or cracked block im not going to be able to afford to fix it or get a new engine so i fear it will be time to shop it in.
its a 1998 4.0 litre SE Gems with LPG. what would she be worth should i need to part with her?
the interior is in fabulous condition. last year she has replacement air springs etc. and this year she has had a new exhaust (inc cats) and a replacement abs brake booster.
all electrics work as they should (although i havent tried the heated seats or windows but the heated wing mirrors work).
LPG system works but could do with a service.
i really hope i dont have to get rid of her as i love my Rangie.
i always have the option of parting her out....
cheers
