Doing some tidying up and simple jobs to build my confidence back up and I need to replace the trim which covers the fuse panel in the passenger footwell.

Could someone tell me the LR name for this and where I could get one?

Thanks all

Plenty of people breaking discos.

Inc me (kind of)

(as in i have one for my own part, but ill never want that bit)

Do you meran nr 10? http://www.allbrit.de/UNI.cfm?PAGE=820105&SPRACHE=EN , google out the p/n.... if it's that you'll not like the price of it:eek:

Hmmm....I'm thinking it may be #14, it's basically a posh cardboard flap and it does have the large hole in it as shown in the diagram. Does that seem right? Still €70 but half the price of that other one, not cheap but can't run with it hanging down or missing so something needs to be done. Unless of course I go all creative and use the current naff one as a pattern....Hmmm that could be an idea.

If that is the part you're looking for, the part number is probably FBS100620.
Nobody has listed one on the bay, but some of the suppliers; LRDirects etc.do list it as being on 2 day back order.
It certainly ain't cheap, from what I've seen of mine, it's a cardboard type stuff with foam on the inner side.
It's probably one of those "Obsolete Items" so you'd more than likely be best off by either trying to secure your existing one or trying to manufacture a replacement yourself.

Or find someone whose breaking a disco (plenty in the classified ads on the bay) and seeing how cheap they'll sell you the part. Bear in mind though that, because its a crap design, they dont tend to be in great condition on any landrovers!

Whats wrong with your current one? If its just broken around the holes then a repair should be fairly straightforward... some thin hardboard is probably the way forward. Its fairly out of sight so theres no need for the repair to be amazing but if you want to tidy it up a bit, some of that sticky-backed plastic stuff would solve your problem. If you can wait a week or so for it to arrive from china you can get it in a carbon-fibre style which might look alright tucked away down there, or else buy it in plain black from a diy or craft store.
