What will you'r next motor be ?

I was thinking.
What would you get for the next family car ?
I'm talking about real life family motor, not something you & your short skirted bit on the side can get in for a dirty weekend.

Just something Joe average can afford.
I'm thinking 2 kids & a dog...........oh ya & the wife.

I'm not thinking of getting rid of the Disco cos it's do'es everything I need, but one day it will be no more & I can't think of what I'd get.

What would your next motor be ?

I already have it - 530d Touring. Perfect daily wagon IMO. Although when it comes to replacing that it will be a hard choice between an 535d, a XF TDV6 and a RR Sport TDV6

I've taken delivery of a mk6 Golf Tdi. Goes like stink

Was a toss up between Audi/VW (technically same now) and BMW.

My2 toys apart our ''family car is my wifes XTrail, the next car i'm looking to buy for the summer is either Honda S2000 / Mercedes SLK / OR Mazda MX5

Not really a family car but my next vehicle is a Vauxhall Nova saloon.... yeah it doesn't sound all that but I also have a cavalier SRi 16V that is going to be donating its engine, box and brakes to the Nova, little bit of tuning and it will be 200BHP in a 700KG car, should be fun...

erm a gaylander or range rover

I've still got my old Audi S4. Goes well, completely reliable. Fast as...

When the Rangie goes, I might look at an old Bentley. Or another Rangie.

Wife has the Freelander to tow the 'van and carry the two dogs about.

I've had sensible cars for the last 15 years (OK, also much less sensible motorbikes, but, go with me).

I quite fancy a 328 Ci, or an X Type 3 litre, or a Scooby Sti, or, or, or I dunno.

In mad moments I think about a 4x4, but having spent time reading about rusty discos, dodgy RRs etc I've no idea what I'd get if I went down the 4x4 route, the Jeep Cherokee looks tempting....

Got a mondeo at the moment, brilliant car, but been looking at jag X types......

Looking at my finances i might go for a s/h bicycle...... if theres one in a skip somewhere

TD5 110 station wagon. The 110 station wagon is the only vehicle I have found that does everything I need of it for both work and domestic use.

Thinking of changing my Golf GT140 for a new Mitzy Lancer Sport, Prob be a downgrade in quality but they look super sexy!
But trying to find me a nice 90tdi first priority!:car:

Kids now of hand (well old enough not to come out with us anymore ) and as the disco is for work towing ect wifey has a mondeo tdci for every day so have just bought a Volvo c70 convertable for the summer

it is, very nice it's the the rag top one not the later one, and it's got the 2.3 240hp engine much better than the 2.4 lpt one

Im looking for a good on fuel diesel estate. Thinking a focus or a mondeo estate. maybe even a golf or a passat.

Anyone recommend anything?
