Some conflict of information going around about fitting new tyres to a freebie.
Can you tell me the right way to fit 2 new tyres to a freebie 1.

2 new on rear 2 old in front ??
2 old on rear 2 new on front ??

This is to stop blowing VCU after about 20mins down the road.

Hi all, has anybody on here have any reviews on Toyo tires. I have found a nice set of them to use as my winter set but would like opinions before buying. Marty

Ended up getting a set of kingpin AT's to use for the winter time. And save my more expensive tyres for next year. 195/80/15 should cut through the mud and snow better the the current 225 one I have.

That's what I use on mine.
Kingpin 235/70/16
Work perfect for off road as same pattern as BFG.

Yes not bad at all. Mine took a bit of balancing but apart from that ok. hardly any road noise either.
I have a 2" lift kit and 10mm spacers to move them out from bottom of shocks as they are over size ones.
I use mine a lot for laneing and find they work great in all conditions.

i bought a spare set of 15 inch alloys and put marshall kl71s on for winter/offroad use....just did 650 mile round trip to scotland towing a caravan then did a weekend offroading.
they are a little noisy on the motorway but handle well and offroad they did very well...i was only beaten by lack of ground clearance once or twice.
i will put my 225/55/17s back on soon till it snows.:)

Since I have had the lift in mine. It goes anywhere the discos and 90's go with ease and does it better that some of the heavier discos.
I have done things in mine where they had to have 2 or 3 attempts and mine has done it in one :)
Off this weekend camping down balla for 2 days laneing and off roading.
Should be fun with all this rain.

You must be more or less local to me. Bala is not too far from me. I'm Just outside Oswestry at the moment. Enjoy the weekend.

Was a fantastic weekend. All round Bala. Brecon. Llandovery. Total 130 miles of lanes done over two days and a total drive of 302 miles.
Well pleased and great lanes with lots of everything from River. Mud. Ruts. Rocks. Hills up and down. Tilts the works.
The freebie did the lot :)

Sounds like you had a great time. Have to say I am envious.

So what tires would be good for all season and a little mud action for a 17 inch rim lol I thought about some hankooks or Pirellis
