 really, can you not just engage your brain and use the link that does work to see what would fit on the disco ?

You could start off by assuming 375/90/16's wont fit without some serious modifications but 235/75/16's will…….thats what the visual calculators for.

My its friendly here isn't it. :monitor_punch: 6,546 other posts - are they all so helpful?

Yes - I will use my brain to work out what tolerance LR build into the wheel housing spaces when at maximum articulation and steering lock. then of course I'll need to look at different wheel offsets too and investigate whether the areas that first foul can be trimmed. It's all so trivial, I'm sorry I distressed you with my time wasting, by asking for a link.

After all, working it out from scratch is so much more likely to be right than find out from people who have done it before.

All I will say is get use to it, sometimes its valid, sometimes people like to start arguments, when I first joined I thought most the people on here were arseholes, as I have kept using it I have found out that most the people on here are actually arseholes so its OK, they are a friendly bunch just be prepared to be abused now and again and feel free to abuse back...

As for the tyres Im afraid I cant help much, I know 31's need a lift and some arch trimming but thats all I know on the subject. Your right to ask its just a shame this is the most asked question on here, a quick search on this forum will bring up many different threads with many different answers for you, all the info is there though...
