What should you pay for axles

Hi all

I am looking at buying a pair of axles for my 90. looking at a pair of either range rover of discovery axles with disk rears as my 90 has at present got drum rears.

What would you pay for a pair of matching disk axles.

Also has any one got any for sale!!!!

I have disco axles available, 200Tdi. Sell you the pair including diffs for £175, or £100 without diffs. Truck has done 180k miles. Axles in good nic, never been offroaded. Im in hampshire near Marwell Zoo.

i got some down in surrey from a disco 200tdi aswell

i paid £75 for a rear axle of a range rover this had disc brakes on and i couldnt believe how much of an easy job it was to swap over..jus make sure you got 2 axle stands and 2 trolley jacks and a good strong helping hand

based in staffordshire. been offered a pair of a 200di disco for £100

why do you need the fronts it has discs already?

24 spline and smaller end caps so i can put alloys on it with caps

alloys shoud go on the front its always the rear drums that cause the problems,depends what alloys u are using i spose

errrrrrrr nasty but nos as nasty as the rostyles they is pants..

Rangie alloys fit the rear fine just about they do not fit 1986 fronts the as the hub centre and drive flange sticks out by about 10mm more than the hub face what the wheel is nutted against. basically the thickness of the rear drum,

Remember that you may get 24 spline inners but the cv's are alot weaker than early 90/110 ones! Id prefer to get home with a broken shaft than a shot cv joint any day Jai
