What rack

I have a 61 plate 110 csw, I want a roof rack, and ladder, willing to pay up to about then 1k marker, I have seen a few that I like but all the racks that I have seen where they attach to the gutter rails have like a flat flange of steel that I feel will puncture the paint In no time at all, has anyone seen any with like rubber mountings or something that doesn't look like it will hurt the paint very much ? Thanks ben

It's a defender, it's meant to have a few marks in the paint!
Grow a set and get it dirty! Lol

If that is well and truly the case I will, just wondered if such thing existed, can anyone recommend one, I've seen 2, there is one by masi (the only one for a 110) and was like £400-£500 i think and some kinda g4challange one that I've seen on John craddock for about £800-£900, any other suggestions welcome thanks ben

Get an old bicycle inner tube and cut some neat strips to size and put them on where it meets ya paint work!

Hannibal roof rack. Thats what I've got and it is the dogs danglies. Not cheap though.
