What MPG can you realistically get from a Landy/Disco?

I get around 28-33 mpg depending on road conditions etc.

Typically get 550-600miles to a tank of diesel on motorway driving.

From my experiance (ONLY THE ONCE) red light came on, 20 miles later ran out of fuel, pishing it down,forgot me mobile,on me tod,2 kids with me (1 under 2 years)

Luckily the old girl stopped/started/stopped/started to the next garage......ooooooooooooh

Well, if he used 16 gallons to do his 600 miles that comes to about 37½ miles per gallon. Even better!

Had our fuel light come on last Friday got to the garage within 10miles and put 87lts in.

4.0 litre V8 Auto........ around 11mpg crawling around Central london, and I do not have big heavy boots! My RR Vogue 4.6 manages even less!
