What model is my Landy Disco 1 or 2

Hi Chaps,

I've bought a 1998 Plate Land Rover Disco, which I'm assuming is a Mark 1. Would someone kindly confirm this.

I would like to buy some A Bars, but they are for a Disco 2, and I was wondering if they would also fit a Disco 1.

It's a disco 1, not sure about the A bars but don't think they'll fit.

Don't see why you just don't buy a standard D1 a bar though

You have a Discovery I and if it's a diesel it'll be a TDi 300. The D2ones won't fit.

Thanks, as I haven't bought one yet, I'll just buy one for the D1.
Anyway, I don't know what a shim is and daresay, I wouldn't know where to put it anyway.

best thing to do mate is search on google or get yourself into a newsagent and get a mag, Land rover owner, land rover international etc, i couldn't really tell you the proper names of the mags, and have a little read about landrovers, sometimes easier than a computer
