free lander if you want a car for a lot of road miles
disco if you want to do a lot of road miles carrying 7people or a load of stuff in the back and tow a trailer with some off road miles
defender 90 if you want get nearly anywhere off road capability without carrying much and want bruises on your right elbow
defender 110 ditto but want to carry more stuff
rangerover does much the same as a disco.... but doesnt have seven seats and costs twice as much, and makes people think youre a bit of a plonker

All things been equal same driver & tyres etc A STD disco will go anywhere off road that a std 90 or 110 will go. But you'll be a lot more comfortable.
