had 4 of them on single chain & round link going to 4 chain & hooks when I got me hands derty in engineering......

shudder at the thought of it now


hope their propa tensile if you want to put lots a stress on `em..

been looking at vids on you tube for using farm jack as a winch.. but the winch kits are huge pennies....

They're called kuplex TL7's from memory. I'll have to check the SWL tomorrow when I get to work but they're at least 2t with a 7.1 ratio.

I'm based in solihull and the company we buy from are based in brum.

Search on google for kuplex TL7 and you'll find them....just checked. The ones I found though seem expensive to what we pay.

Let me know how many u want and I'll see what I've got lying around.

it's a coupling link we sell them and I fit them when I make up chain slings/lifting beams.

solihull, a fair old treck, unless they r really cheap...

We call them 'hammerlocks' here.
I, and most of the fleet, use them to join lengths of 16mm anchor chain together.
Very strong, but get replaced annually.
I have never had one break, and swear by them.
There is a piece missing in the link pic, the pin is held by a sprung collar/tube so it can't fall out.

PRG by chance?

i can get em for you, but they are not cheap, we have them in stock.

Found a place in sherburn that does em, but not rung em yet for a price..

3/8ths chain looks like the size of chain in use.. unless you kno better?

PRG are more Longbridge than solihull.

Ive never seen PRG send out those things though, you'd just use some deckchain and a few shackles.

still based in brum though take it your in the industry then if you know PRG

No I don't work at PRG but know most of the guys there. I'm in the industry just not on the lampie side!!
