Can anyone help me at all?
I've been having problems with my No1 fuse blowing and traced a wire which had over heated all the way down to behind the head lamp (passenger side) where two wires had become attached to the back of the headlight light somehow and have then burnt through the casing fusing the wires together.

The wires go to the brown connector block in this picture....what is it for?
The landrover is a 2000 TD5 Defender but I have worked out that it has the 2002my loom (with most recent TD5 dash).

Any ideas? I'm just trying to work out if its needed!
Thanks

What colours are the individual wires to the block?
Does the block have an ID on it?
Do you have a pdf of the "Defender%20MY2002%20Wiring%20Diagram"

Could be literally anything, cruise, headlamp washers, petrol tank purge system etc
Most cars/trucks have spare connectors.

I think the small connector is for headlamp levelling and the larger one is for an alarm sounder (can't remember the correct name)
