I have just replaced the rear crossmember on a 2002 110 TD5, very basic no extras, no rear seats, no aircon etc. I thought I had marked all the connectors on the wiring loom, but the loom that connects to the fuel tank has a tail with a small grey connector which I have not marked. I have attached a photo, the larger connector, with white tape, goes to the fuel pump in the tank, but the other one defeats me. I suspect it might be for an 'extra' not fitted to the vehicle, any help would be gratefully received.

Try this to check what the cable colours are for.
 
That could be the LT230 4WD/difflock indicator switch .... connects to IGM500011
Thanks for the reply, I should have included the rear crossmember in the pic. It's a branch off the loom that goes to the fuel pump, it's only about 500mm long and would never reach the center diff lock. I shall put the fuel tank back and connect everything that was disconnected and see what doesn't work.
