forgot yesterday I also went to change the fog light bulb and discovered the entire light unit was (stress on was) held together with pure willpower.. now it has lost the will to live and is in a pile of Fe(OH)3 on the drive...

and has anyone got any idea how I can remove the stud from the bumper as it is rotating freely and I can't get the damn nut off...
mole gips and a spanner? Take a piccy and show us what ye're talkin' about;) :D
 
sat in it from 8.30 to 23.30 on sunday.Its very dirty, a bit warm but (touches wood, crosses fingers and sez little prayer) seems ok. Clocked up a fair few miles annol!
 
replaced all instrument lights, they were very dim

just hope the new ones will be brighter - - got to wait until dark to check tho!
 
just returned from working towing trailer with a fair old weight on board, soil, lawn mowers etc.
first time i've towed a good load with it, felt very healthy.
 
spent today washing and polishing inside and out. then wrapped it up in tarpaulin under the car port, ready for winter. She will hybernate now for the next 5 months
 
Ah sanded down me A frame fulcrum tonight and painted it...

i've just been studying what a turbo does, always had them on cars i owned, but after all these years never actually new what one looked like, or does!(the one on my old Volvo was hidden behind a guard).
I'm going to have a nose at my disco engine this saavo.
