Looks like a weekend on my back with the disco on top!!

You will probably get more replies if you start a new thread on that topic rather than piggybacking on an unrelated existing thread.New to this site, but just wondered if anyone could help. I paid £120 plus parts to have a damper pulley replaced on a td5. ... Anyone every heard of this happening before, could the crank end be damaged??
My power steering pump to box pipe has rubbed and is now leaking. Its the metal part of the pipe but I can't seem to find a direct replacement for the whole metal and rubber pipe.
I have a td90 with a 200tdi fitted and wondered if something strange has been made up to fit it. Here is a joint between the metal pipe and rubber flexi bit

The rubber hose is then adapted back to a metal pipe that bends round into the pump. Bit hard to see but its down there!
Anyone have any idea if this is a part I can buy or do I have to get each individual part and make it up.
Did notice that the long metal pipe from the box doesn't seem to be bent in the correct ways so it sticks out a fair bit.
Ha cheers for that. Ide rather replace as soon as pos. I can drive my work van about but rather have me landy! Does that stuff work on metal?By coincidence I have just come back from Halfrauds with 2 rolls of FIXX-IT tape to do a temp job on me filter to turbo pipe and this may well get you out of trouble for a bit. It is one of these self bonding silicone thingiebobs good for up to 500 psi if you believe the blurb.
