Today I have mostly fitted the dog guard I picked up locally from Ebay.... borrowed the required rivnut tool from a friend only to discover that a previous owner had already had a dog guard in the car so the rivnuts were already in place!

That has to be the first time since buying the car that a job has taken significantly less time that I thought it would....

finally got me winch installed properly on the bumper and the fairlead etc all on. (very tight install, only just fitted!!)

Finally got my exhaust pipes cut to length and ready for welding, have to make a couple of small hangers at the back to hold the box and tail pipe :)

tried cleaning my truck at work while bored and even get my manager to clean his car that he hadn't cleaned in 2 and half years only to then finish work and cover his cleaner car with startup soot from my side exit :hysterically_laughi he even got back out his car to wipe it down

Found out that alternator was hanging on one bolt, removed it and then found that the power steering pump was loose. Removed that too. Cleaned everything up and am just having a cup of tea then going to refit everything. This will probably get rid of annoying rattle I've had for the last couple of days.

Quite a lot :D

New HID Spot Lights fitted - Its like having a Red Dwarf on the front, insanley bright!
Ripped out all the all rubber matting. Dynamat went in the drivers side foot well & the transmission tunnel. Then new rubber matting (backed with 3mm closed cell foam) has been fitted.
Fitted a Blue Sea Fuse Box which is starting to really neaten up the battery box, perfect little device.

Quite proud of myself, never really done any car wiring before and it all works :D
