Fitted my battery box and pulled looms in. Made up battery terminals. Started on fuse box. Put hole in bulkhead for dash loom. Tried starting it on the key with no joy :( seems I'm going to have to put a starter relay in.

Yesterday cleared out the vast amounsts of crap I had in there. then installed my rear sub floor.
Fitted a new fusebox under the bonnet, as this appeared to be the culprit of my starting woes, ill find out in the next 4-6 weeks if its worked :D
And replaced my oil temp sender, and fitted a new exhaust hanger.

Today shes been used for gardening, the wife could fook orf if she thought I was digging em out when she asked me to remove those couple of bushes :) (she should also have realised what I wa sup to whenI agreed so readily :D):hysterically_laughi:now its time for a beer :tea:

Pulled the LSE out to start work on emptyed the fuel tank 13.5 gallons of petrol . fuel line was leaking got to drop the tank .last looked at it two years ago been sat outside not suffered to much . gas tanks of next :(

I painted my plastic light surround and grill on the front also wired my horn in and fixed my interior light also found that Sellotape isn't a good a insulator as the previous owner though it was :-0

Been out at the bloody starter again and eventually had to enlist help. Between us we got off the last two rounded bolts and then......realised the bloody thing wouldn't come out without removing the manifold. Loosened everything out of the way and got new starter in only to realise that #### nugget here had bought the wrong sized bolts. Still, new bolts and back together and job done. Absolutely soaked through, knackered, sore and filthy so the missus ran me what felt like the best bath in the world :D

Well I went out for a drive today :)

After spending 6 months restoring my Land Rover and adding a few personal touches it was nice to get it dirty. Thanks to all those that helped too.

Put the winter wheels away today, refitted the normal ones. Just watch it start snowing next week!
Then I had the idea that I would use the 12s towing socket at the back to power my T-Max compressor, just to get the tyre pressures right. Now I've got to find the fuse which has probably blown.
And before anybody asks, no, I'm not going to say what pressures I've set, statements like that can start wars!

Well, I eventualy found the fuse.
Nope, not on the internal fuseboard.
Not on the main fuseboard inte engine bay either.
It was one of those odd in-line fuseholders stuffed down behind the battery.

Since the only circuit on that fuse is the 12s socket and I don't do caravans, I replaced the 5 amp one with one a bit bigger to handle the load I might put on the socket in future.
