Put a clutch in the freelander. Not bad to do really. Wasn't happy being dragged home by the AA when the thrust bearing exploded at lunch time

If I put the arch where Devon 4x4 say it wouldve exposed the arch, ie cut back so much bodywork you would see the inner arch. Not the lip the main curve, there's no lip on the back of it.
I'll show you when you get to uni, then I'll give you the angle grinder haha

It very cleverly spat all the ball bearings out of the bell housing and they were sat on top of the ird!

You have your air filter on the top of the snorkel? That flex silicone costs a fortune doesn't it!

Got a silicone 45° piece to go under the airbox. 63mm connectors arrived. Just waiting on intake hose and bottom half sorted. Original airbox brackets adapted and ready to be fitted when captive nuts arrive. Thinking I might do the same to the top and fit a connector to extend the breathers into as so close. Struggling to figure how I can get to the snorkel hose as end of pipe if covered in gunk and reckon I might swop it all. Will be über waterproof then.
Picked up a tin of satin black hammerite from interweb and need to source a genuine defender 200tdi temperature gauge. As decided I am going to fk the whole temp gauge issue off. If they are all new can't go wrong then eh.

Yes going to put in top of snorkel much less hassle. It was £20 for a metre 2ply silicone

I have used genuine land rover intake pipes with couplings so pipes are extended forward. Air filter is fitted roughly where the td one was before and with silicone adapter at an angle will look smart and like pretty standard.
K and n filter will be in air box.

Is that the original td rad with just a disco td5 intercooler? Since doing mine looked at that option. Extra cooling all round and would have been easier me thinks.
no its a 200 rad moved into centre to allow pipes down the side and tdci intercooler

Ahhh ok. Interesting . Bigger intercooler make a difference? I have a new tdi rad but quite liked the td set up as larger the td5 one is wider and goes in front with slight cut out in the wing. Mucho cooling but will wait on that now. I stuck a thermostatic cooling fan on the back of the rad too. Also with the td rad on could use the old coving th draw the air to the engine.
