been using the 110 all week hauling away hardcore and soil , and hauling scalpings ballast back in.
probably about 10/12 tonne each way , the bus did a bloody good job tbh did about 320 miles all told on a tank full and thats about 15/20 miles less per tank that i get in normal use not bad at all seeing as she's been towing on average about 2 tonne per load.

Sorted out my 'tight bearing' issue... see HERE

And got the ladder frame, oil pump and sump refitted.

Just the top end to put back together now, plumb her in and we should be good to go... ;) (touch wood)

collected replacement front number plate from sorting office, as bought a new self adhesive one off eblag as lost my normal one in a mud hole on salisbury plain last saturday, mental note to ones self " make sure you put correct reg number on order form ":mad::(:smash:

That aint strictly true...... You only lost half of it.;):D

I walked past mine twice.

I moved my landy forward 10ft, Emptied the coal out the back of it, pushed the intermittent wiper relay back into its holder as it wasn't working (musta shaken loose again last weekend on the plains) and then test fitted one of the transit high top roof bars that I bought.

They are a bit too high even with the spinny roof vent and lightbar but considering I got 3 Rhino bars, 5 load stops and a ladder roller for £35 I can't complain.

If anyone else is having trouble finding decent defender roof bars for a good price I strongly recomend buying transit roof bars, chopping em down from 190cm long to 150 cm long and fitting them. I rekon medium height roof bars would be a better fit.

Wouldn't a muck-away truck have been easier/cheaper.

how much are you after for em? Do you know what weight they can carry?

Erm i have no idea ho much i want for um, the only issue is im leaving the country for a while at 6am in the morning. I have no idea what weight they can carry either. Sorry matey if id have seen your advert id have chimed in!

If your still in need of a set in december ill give you first refusal. Apologies again.

Are you landyless now?

Well for the moment iam, as above leaving the country so ive lent it to a friend of mine for a few months. He's a good chap and i know it will get more use and taken care off than if i was to leave it at home.

Also the missus is moving house on her own, while im away so it gets it out of her way aswell. :)
