What have you done to your Landie today.

Umm really exciting day.. took the carpets out and pressure washed them. 18 months of stable mud/horse**** washed out in a few minutes. Only problem is that I can now see all the water sloshing round in the front footwells
Anyone got some Disco 1 front rubber mats going really cheap?????

as the landy is off the road for now, stripped down the hub etc to sort a leak, then drained the brake fluid and repaired a weeping brake pipe, as its empty of fluid now, any recomendations for re-filling? series 2a diesel

bollix again - egr all cleaned, new P gasket fitted, all bolted back. refilling with water - one way valve near coolant bottle broken. can i get anuffa today - can i buggery. have to wait till tomoz, so it mite be new valve, noo rad and noo decat pipe being fitted. .

Well I drove me landy to tesco's and did some food shopping and then treated vivien to a nice fresh cooling drink of doosel but don't know if this counts as doing something to me landrover

checked oils to discover my L/H swivel housing is leaking (chrome ball is a tad battered):doh:
and that my power steering pump is also leaking

oh and also cleaned engine to find out where that is leaking

Went off roading - found out the side steps can support the full weight without bending, and that the road tires are ****e in the mud!

Sounds like you've got my landy. Have all the exact issues

took it for it's first MOT since I bought it... passed with no advisories whatsoever...

Dropped my 110 off at the spray shop. Time for a colour change, never really liked it being white.

Nothing to my own - but just used my big hammer to wallop f**k out of neighbour's gaylander!!

lol....No...he broke it six weeks ago..can't afford to repair it...so has sold it as it is. After 6 weeks in his driveway....guess what? Yep....rear brakes seized. Big hits with big hammer...then a quick pull with my slitty. Job done

noo rad, noo t piece and noo rocker box gasket.

easy peasy - tighten up oil cooler pipes - like fook - bottom nut buggered and damaged noo rad thread - back to KG tomoz - more expense

fitted new working light - nice led unit
took out rear bench seats and removed rust and painted with black hammerite
fitted new seal to rear door frame

I've fitted a new compressor to the P38, that's the second one in 5 months, though i did tell the bf not to shop at island 4x4, but would he listen

Took the sound deadening out of front footwells. Wish I hadn't as I found bloody great big holes! Spent last 6 hrs welding. Need to by some seam sealant when I get paid...#

Still haven't done the P gasket - So topped up coolant.

Refitted rear door lock mechanism and adjusted door to close properly for once.

Refitted home made headlight guards.

Fitted Limb risers / bush lifters ..... whatever

Sorry for the stupid question but what are the guy-rope things between the lamp guards and light bar for?

Them's me limb risers - or brush lifters: not to be confused with shirt lifters!

They are quite effective at deflecting foliage and the like away from the motor - saves the windscreen doing it

put new flanges on the rear halfshafts, new nuts and bolts on rear prop shaft, new drain plug on rear axle and re-filled with the oil that arrived today, also put new copper washer on gearbox drain plug, was really looking forward to running her tonight but my dam brake fluid aint arrived
just wanna be on the road again..!! maybe tomorrow
