the ones we did today can be incorperated into the lot you did with us, think we now have enough to make up a days "soft" laning and a "hardcore" version too.

finally got round to cleaning her out at long last. looking sweet now. stereo n speakers all up outta harms way. kits back together and back into bags. just need some kinda van vault thing now to lock it all away safe and im done!
 
Anyone got a 19J Injector pump? Undone the boost housing and it fell apart :eek: All stripped down now, just need a new pump :rolleyes:
 
Changed my Intercooler, fitted a new Map Sensor and tried to sort out the ferked driver's door window regulator by fitting a replacement - till I fcuked that up.. Got to order another one now. D'oh
 
Took me 110 to have its wheels tracked after changing the track rods and ends.....got pretty printouts and everything.....even drives better now and turns corners better.
 
Nothing today as i was busy spreading 20t of used tarmac over the drive.
Using it to go get a wacker from KB's tomorrow though.
Still not sorted the leaking transfer box or re-attached the front prop yet, bad times.

isn't there standard measurements for the rods? (between the centres of the rod ends) so yer make ther drag link XX inches long and yer steering arm XX inches long and bingo roberts yer mothers brother
 
Well, since I sold my Disco and got back from hols, I've been doing bits and bobs on the Defender to get it ready for the winter muddy season..

So far I've washed all the mud from inside, front and back and booked it in for a steam clean underneath..
other than that i've been playing around with chequer plate, fit my snorkel and straight through exhaust..

the chequer plate I did it the other day..

then repaired a little hole on the right chassi leg

then was time to play with the snorkel..
found a way of fitting it in with straight route for air intake and exit..

then welded a plate on the water drain nipple

then after trying a few times for placemente, I've holded the air hoses in place with jubilee clips and then sealed around

then finally, the postman delivered this shinny bit for me, so it was out with the old and in with the new...

the back box is out too...and tomorrow I shall cut it off and weld some pipe together.. :D
