made a template out of card board, transfered it and cut it out of 4mm ply, bought a 8x4 sheet fibre board and cut same. stuck the two together with impact adhesive. cut and stuck 1/4 inch foam around window so when i glued the board on , as you pushed, it compressed the foam at high spots that way it stuck all over. bought a remnant from local car trimmers stuck it on using impact adhesive ( carpet fitters contact spray in a can, not ordinary spray glue this is not up to it and goes manky )then sprayed the back of the board and the foam and carefully put it in place.same for all the other bits.

I think I've successfully replaced my lift pump.

Well, it started and didn't squirt any fuel or oil - better than before so far ;)

Just not sure how tight I should have tightened the bolts.

Manual gave a torque setting (25Nm) but there's no way I could get my torque wrench anywhere near. In fact because it was so fiddly I ended up using a screwdriver handle with an extension and then my socket......

cleaned up all the fuses and connections and got the heater working for the first time!:)
Also got low fuel warning light working - lifted floor and it was unplugged from sensor. Hope all jobs are going to be this easy!

Ran over a rabbit:eek: (no not intentional ... I ain't BoB), it got it's revenge when one of it's bones punctured the tyre, chance in a fckin million as it's gone straight through the tread into the tyre:doh: ... crossed finger's that the tyre ain't knackered as there's lot's of tread left on it.

Removed the steering box and front axle from my scrap Disco 1.
Also drained a couple of gallons of diesel out of it which was a bonous:D

Might fit the steering box on the 110 if that one's leaking. Wasn't dripping if I remember so maybe keep it for a spare.:)
