Commenced part 2 of operation no drips.. and have covered the roof and ribs with 10mm foam. in an effort to stop condesation from dripping all over me & me sleeping bag, when I'm sleeping in the back of the 110. Also covered the front half of the sides with same stuff. Would have done all the side but some "Fat chippy eating fooker" has stolen me tuther sheet of foam.. :(

watched Beasty plagarise me idea for a winch plate. Oh and watched him get thru half a doz cutting discs anorl. :D

i found laminate floor underlay was good when i had the van top on, nice and light so stayed stuck to the roof and it's dirt cheap. cheaper still if you can find a roll in a skip like i did.:D

Welderised me door up after the wind on the chippie run tried (with some success) to rip the top half off.....

Took off overdrive to tighten mainshaft nut that some muppet had forgotten to bend the tabs on the washer......oh....that'd be me then....

Put O/D back on....

Made a winch bracket and copyrighted the design so no pikey bastid can pinch me amazing idea without grovelling for permission....

Found a phone that actually works behind the drivers seat so I is back in the communication game.......may break it tomorrow depending on who's trying to get in touch :)

i try regulate fuel injector pump but is nothing change probmel is same max aceleration is 3000 is fell like fuel coming hadly to engine sometimes is go on 5000 when i push pedl but come back on to 2000 and again 3000. ****ing problem anyone knows what is wrong any ideas?

Yeah hsve used that before. but guy at Newbury 4x4 jumble sells sheets of close cell foam from 2mm to 40mm thick also off cuts for kneelers or to throw under landy & lie on when woirking under em.

Had a sheet off him for use as a bed! base in the disco But gave it to Fatty Chip Monster, when I got the nissan vanette. then got the 110  so bought another 2 sheets to insulate the back of the 110. Was gonna sneak in tent & steal it back off him.. at Beasties field, till I found out his ballast was using it

Yeah I got some 10mm off him too. Got his card somewhere. Going to do my roof in it before I put a roof console in. Want some thinner stuff to line the tub before I put chequer liner in otherwise I imagine it will be even louder in there!

Save a few pennies. He's always at the Malvern auto jumble in January.

Nah no website, we've decided to keep it as hobby really. Mainly because we've all got pretty solid jobs and the PA market is sooo tough to crack in to. We didn't have the time or the space to take it much further and the risk to bin our jobs in was just too much. It's a shame because the lad out the three of us that is the designer is extremely talented.

Still, we've made ourselves a top quality soundsystem and get pretty good praise from all that hear it which is always nice.

Took the best part of two years to build, mainly because we had a converted bedroom for a workshop and built the fibreglass horns completely from scratch after making the moulds first. Sooo much work.

Couple of pics though:

Replaced all the orignal turbo and intercooler hoses on my 200 tdi with silicone ones. Feck me. It's an arf made a difference! I wouldn't have believed it possible. Better acceleration, quieter engine and I can actually hear the turbo whistling.

Adjusted the new (stretched) handbrake cable. Found out that the bottom coolant hose was loose and the sodding thing ****ed out half of the coolant in the header tank in 80miles, lucky I check it frequently, also tightened the power steering/water pump belt and topped up engine oil :D It also got a comment from the nice man in the fuel station, 'Nice Defender mate' :)
